Hi! We’re Paul and Laura Loy. In July, 2025, our world changed when Paul was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. Since then, we’ve been learning and preparing ourselves for the fight of our lives.
We have created this blog to share our journey – the ups and downs of treatment, what we’re learning along the way, and the hope that keeps us moving forward. Our goal is to document this chapter in our lives, stay connected with family and friends, and help others walking a similar road.
When we’re not at appointments, you will find us cheering on our oldest son on the football field, listening to our youngest son play guitar, or heading off on an adventure together somewhere.
